    Gotcha !

Following a leopard in the dense vegetation between the bushes of Savuti (Botswana) is not easy. When he does show up every now and then, you don't have much time to capture it ...

Me an my (sunset) shadow ...

In the evening on our way back to our camp in Khwai (Botswana) we came across these 2 wild dogs on the road. Apparently they had lost track of their pack and tried to locate them by summoning them. Luckily we took the time to stop for a while so that, with the sunset in the background, I could take this picture ...

    Thirsty ...

During the first evening in Moremi Game Reserve (Botswana) we were lucky enough to experience a beautiful sunset. When a herd of elephants passed the horizon, the evening was more than successful ... Here I had the opportunity to capture the drops of the falling water through the last rays of the sun ...

  • When, after an hours-long journey through Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Uganda), you can finally meet the mountain gorillas in their own environment, remains a very special moment every time. If there are also little ones walking around among these impressive animals, makes it extra special. These two here were playing and fighting all the time ... and one apparently already declared himself the winner!

    Hangin' out ...

While visiting Kibale Forest National park (Uganda) we did two Chimpanzee trekkings. During the Habituation Trekking (we first tried to find a different group than the Chimpanzee Trekking, but couldn't catch up with them) it took a few hours before we encountered them. Initially they where high in the trees, with this mother and her baby actually being one of the first shots that day ...

    Just relaxing ...

Meeting the chimpanzees in their natural habitat is always touching. When you see that they are completely relaxed during your visit, it gives you a somewhat reassuring feeling. Here we see a chimpanzee apparently enjoying the sun rays shining through the foliage of Kibale Forest National park (Uganda) ...
